Last project! My final project was to create a series of screencasts to be used by the team I help to support. I have previously created some "DIY" materials that fit within our team branding standards, and the screencasts below are how-to's and tips-and-tricks styled videos to help them make the best use of those templates. These videos will be available on an internal site portal (SAP Jam) which I'd call a mix of Facebook and document storage, but are linked here for external viewing.

Our penultimate project covered "alternative media," and we could choose from anything under the sun, so I picked a tool I am really comfortable with: Articulate Storyline. For those of you that may be reading this that are friends and family, THIS is what I do in my job! I might not be stellar at explaining it, but this should sum it up quite nicely.
For this course, we were asked to create a "day in the life" of a learner in 2026. I chose an adult, corporate learner, since that is who I primarily work with. Given that this is only 9 years away, I also drew on what I would like to see personally in an ideal world for myself. I utilized free music, sound effects, and images primarily from the Articulate content library (such a great resource!). This course, again, doesn't have a hosting option yet, so please take a look at the course in Articulate Review using the link below. Enjoy! Next up in project creation is mobile media! I had a lot of fun with this project because I've recently been using a tool called Articulate Rise pretty often at work. Rise creates a responsive "eLearning" that is most useful because it creates a lovely mobile experience for the user. The prompt for this assignment was "something" in three steps. Since I have a trip coming up soon, I chose packing for a flight. Over the last year I've become pretty efficient at air travel and figured it was a good topic to try my hand at. I haven't figured out what I want to do about hosting yet, so for now, click the button below to go to my course.
This post will review the language learning app Mango Languages, published by Creative Empire, LLC. The app has been around for 10 years, and I find it particularly interesting that this small, Michigan-based company (seriously small, they have under 50 employees) services public institutions around the globe (libraries, schools, government, etc.) and global scale companies. Below are a few highlights of Mango.
