CITW BrochurePrograms Used:
Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop Project Description: To market a new workshop to local school districts, I was asked to create a brochure that would be presented to school board leaders. My contacts in the General Education department wanted something modern and eye-catching, that would stand out against other programs being offered to the districts. Working in a tight deadline, I designed the pamphlet to the left and worked with the General Education department to make sure it conveyed everything they wished to the districts, as well as advertised what the organization did for Eaton County schools. |
MPSP BrochureProgram Used:
Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop Project Description: In an effort to promote the new Michigan Public Schools Partnership (MPSP), the superintendent of Eaton RESA asked me to design a brochure explaining just what MPSP was. My goal with the document was to convey the message of MPSP in a professional, eye-catching brochure that could be used for many years. |

Office EtiquettePrograms Used:
GoAnimate Project Description: The prompt for this project was to create a 30 second video illustrating a concept of some sort. I chose to create a quick cartoon about proper office etiquette based on some of the bad examples we've all seen happen at one workplace or another. I really enjoy this type of video because they are full of instructional possibilities while being fun and playful. |
House Buffalo DocumentaryPrograms Used:
Camtasia Project Description: I made this documentary-style video about the "House Buffalo," a.k.a. my cats, based on the buffalo-based sentence that was our prompt. For more information about the prompt and my design process, check out the blog post. |

Color PodcastPrograms Used:
Audacity Project Description: The prompt for this project was to talk about "a color." I took this to mean "one color" and did a podcast about the idea of a monochromatic color scheme. I utilized open source music to amplify my audio and took a conversational tone, imitating many of my favorite podcasts. |
